Shawn B. Tennyson
SHAWN B.TENNYSON is an Irish writer of dark fiction, fantasy and horror whose work explores the uneasy borders between fear, philosophy, and the human condition. Deeply influenced by authors such as H.P. Lovecraft and Stephen King, as well as the atmospheric storytelling of FromSoftware's Soulsborne games, his stories blend cosmic dread with moments of quiet introspection. His debut collection, "Tales From Beyond The Dark", gathers years of ideas shaped by a fascination with the unknown and the unseen. Liminality and existentialism are major players in the worlds crafted by Tennyson, worlds where reality unravels at the edge, and characters confront the limits of reason and faith. Tennyson's writing is marked by a poetic tone and a deliberate focus on atmosphere, symbolism and meaning beneath horror's surface. Outside of his short fiction, he is developing his first novel, the opening entry in his new expansive dark fantasy series exploring creation, corruption and the divine decay of existence. Tennyson writes with an unflinching belief that art should challenge as much as it entertains, and that stories of fear often reveal the deepest truths about humanity.
